Luxembourg-based Goodyear has announced the launch of Wingfoot Women, a bespoke mentoring and development programme aimed at growing female talent within the company and local communities.
The programme was developed by the Goodyear Women’s Network EMEA and is in partnership with social enterprise KnowThyBrand Women and non-profit organisation Girls in Tech Luxembourg.
The training programme will involve several female Goodyear associates taking part in personal branding training, after which they will mentor young women wishing to get into the tech industry.
It is aimed at enhancing the skills of women within Goodyear while also nurturing a diverse and inclusive workforce. The first stage of the programme will run for six months, with plans to expand to mentees outside of Luxembourg via other Girls in Tech Hubs in the long term.
The programme is one of several steps Goodyear is taking to create a work environment where people have a real sense of belonging and can thrive.
